The 53rd Assembly District includes the communities of Boyle Heights, Downtown Los Angeles (Historic Core, Arts District, South Park, Fashion District, Financial District, Industrial District), East Hollywood, Koreatown, Largemont Village, Hancock Park, Mid-City, Adams/Normandie, Little Tokyo, MacArthur Park, Pico Union and the cities of Huntington Park and Vernon.
